Often considered to be the iconic symbol of springtime, keep an eye out for these resilient songbirds, as they zip across the tree line in the Spring Mountains. Using their excellent eyesight, robins can detect insects moving underground by looking for tiny disturbances in the soil. Sometimes being the early bird isn’t the only way to snag a worm, as some robins will fight over caught insects. During the winter months when insects aren’t as abundant, robins will roost in trees and primarily eat fruit and berries.
