Event Details

Uncommon and irreplaceable, endemic species bring significant biodiversity to our local community. Join an educator for a 45-minute talk at the McWilliams amphitheater to learn about the endemic butterfly species of the Spring Mountains.
Meet at the McWilliams amphitheater located in the Eureka loop of the McWilliams campground.
Seating is limited; bring camp chairs if you have them. You do not need to be camping at McWilliams to attend this program. Park in the overflow parking lot; this will be your first left as you drive into the campground. Temperatures are cooler in the mountains this time of year. Please dress appropriately. Warm clothes are recommended as well as flashlights to find your way in the dark.
*Programs may be shortened or canceled because of heavy rain and lightning for staff and public safety. Our guide will make that determination before the start of the program.
