Acastus Trail Work Volunteer Event

Hello Volunteers!

We are finally slowly opening up Mt. Charleston. With it’s opening to the public we are continuing our volunteer efforts to help restore Mt. Charleston after the damaging effects of Tropical Storm Hilary. Thank you to everyone that has already shown so much interest and care for the Spring Mountain National Recreation area. We are so excited to get everyone back to enjoying the mountain!

We are holding a volunteer event for Acastus Trail. There are still some brush that have grown onto the trail and many tripping/walking hazards. We will be holding our event on November 10th from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Please sign up if you are interested in restoring the trail for the public to continue to enjoy!
