About this Event
The animals in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area have remarkable adaptations that help them survive in their environment.
Join an educator to discover the animals of the Spring Mountains and how they survive.
Meet at the Fletcher Canyon Trailhead 10-15 minutes before the program. Please check the weather, dress in layers, and come prepared with sturdy, close-toed shoes, water, and sun protection. Temperatures in the Spring Mountains can be 20-30 degrees cooler than in Las Vegas. This program is approximately one hour. About this Location
The Fletcher Canyon Trail is located 2 miles west of the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway on Hwy 157. See our visitor use map for more information.
This program is for participants of all ages. Children who participate have a chance to earn their Jr. Ranger badge.
