Event Details

About the Event
Join Nevada Department of Wildlife and Spring Mountains National Recreation Area staff on a guided beginner birding walk along the Fletcher Canyon Trail! We will be exploring the trail, looking for and listening for birds, and hopefully identifying and recording some data! We will be meeting at the Acastus Trail trailhead and moving to the Fletcher Canyon trail which is across the street. This program is approximately 2 hours. Please check the weather and come prepared with sturdy, close-toed shoes, water, and sun protection. Optional equipment can include guide books and binoculars; these will not be provided. Please register prior to attending the program as there will be a limited number of participants. Any questions can be directed to Jess Brooks at jdbrooks@ndow.org.
