Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway
About the Event
Join an educator at the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway, also known as the visitor center, to learn about the ecology of the Spring Mountains.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the program. This will be an easy hike along the Acastus trail. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable hiking clothes and close-toed shoes. Temperatures in the Spring Mountains can be 20-30 degrees cooler than in the Las Vegas valley. Please bring 1 liter of water per person.

This program is for visitors of all ages.
Young participants will have a chance to earn their Spring Mountains Junior Ranger badge.
4th-grade participants will get a free Every Kid Outdoors pass which offers access to many of America’s public lands.
