DESCRIPTION:About the Event\n\nJoin an educator at the Spring Mountains Vis
 itor Gateway\, also known as the visitor center\, to learn about the ecolo
 gy of the Spring Mountains.\n\nPlease arrive 10-15 minutes before the prog
 ram. This will be an easy hike along the Acastus trail. Participants are e
 ncouraged to wear comfortable hiking clothes and close-toed shoes. Tempera
 tures in the Spring Mountains can be 20-30 degrees cooler than in the Las 
 Vegas valley. Please bring 1 liter of water per person.\nAny questions can
