About This Event
As people go about their days in the Las Vegas Valley, the silhouette of the Spring Mountains looms in the background. This mountain range, pushed up from the valley floor thousands of years ago, hosts immense diversity in a place also known as the island in the sky. Join an educator and discover how the Spring Mountains were formed and why they are such a unique environment in the middle of the Mojave desert.
This program is for participants of all ages. Youth participants will get a chance to earn their Junior Ranger badge, and 4th-grade participants will get a free national parks, lands, and waters pass.
*No registration is required for this program.
