About the Event
Join Nevada Department of Wildlife and Spring Mountains National Recreation Area staff on a guided walk along the trails at the Visitor Gateway (Visitor Center)! We will be exploring the trails, learning about the different life zones in Southern Nevada, and learning about common wildlife in the area. We will be meeting in front of the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway (in front of the Visitor Center) before starting our walk along the trails. This program is approximately 1.5 hours. Please check the weather and come prepared with sturdy, close-toed shoes, water, and sun protection. Optional equipment can include guide books and binoculars; these will not be provided. About The Location
This is the Visitor Center for Mt Charleston and Go Mt Charleston. Parking is free and there is outside picnic areas, hiking trails, and the Visitor Center.
