Event Details

Are you looking to volunteer in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area? We are always looking for ongoing volunteers who are interested in providing education on the forest, willing to provide directions and assistance to the public, and generally be a voice on Leave No Trace and showcasing the importance of conserving SMNRA for the future recreationists.

If you are interested and able to attend, please RSVP for the event. If the tickets are full, you can always email us to find out availability or information on the next training.

As this training takes place in January, the emphasis will be emphasizing volunteering in the snow and the role of a Snow Host, however, we will be providing a general overview of the various roles you can take up as a volunteer and the needs of the Spring Mountains.

If you are interested and cannot attend the training session. Do not hesitate to email us at volunteer@gomtcharleston.com. We can work with your schedule.

*Volunteers must be 18 or older, OR be accompanied by someone who is 18+ while out in the field.
