We’ve been talking about the start of a new Trail Host program! The time has come. The next training is scheduled to be in-person on June 1st at 1:30pm and the virtual is scheduled for June 9th at 1:00pm. This program is meant for folks who are interested in hiking the specific trails that are located near habitats of our endemic species; you will be hiking the trail, reporting on their conditions, and educating other visitors on the trail about the importance of following guidelines to prevent the habitat destruction of Mt. Charleston’s endemic species, like the Mount Charleston Blue Butterfly. You can learn more about the program here.
