Event Details

We are so sorry to say that this event has been canceled. Please check our Weekly Update if you’d like to sign up to be notified about volunteering towards Flood Repairs on Mt. Charleston.

Sign up to be a part of our National Public Lands Day event on Saturday, September 23!

Over a million visitors rely on the Spring Mountains to escape the heat and noise of the Las Vegas valley each year. After 15 years of collecting over 50 TONS of litter in the Spring Mountains, the Go Mt Charleston Team has been working to find ways to manage the litter issue and help visitors dispose of their trash properly.

We have also been working hard to restore trails after a heavy winter and pull invasive species to make room for more native plants on the mountain. You can also be a part of making an impact on Mt. Charleston and sign up for our event.

Volunteers will be assigned to a location for a morning of stewardship activities on the Kyle Canyon side of Mt. Charleston. Afterwards you will be treated to a small lunch at the Spring Mountain Visitor Gateway where you can mingle with other volunteers and relax in the cool temperatures of the mountain.

If you are attending with a group or organization, please make sure to indicate so on the form below. Please double check that your organization/group title is the same as others in your group so you are all assigned to the same location.

If you or your company would like to support the costs of this important event, please email lmowat@snconservancy.org for more information. Also, check with your supervisor or HR Department to see if your employee benefits package includes community service compensation.

This event is limited to only 100 attendees; volunteers will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
