Event Details

To celebrate National Trails Day join us at Fletcher Canyon to kick off the summer season! Our Go Mt Charleston table will be set up at the trailhead 10am to 3pm, where we’ll have litter pickers and tools for hikers to borrow to help prepare the trail for summer crowds. Plus we’ll have giveaways when the pickers and tools are returned!

10am – Join us on a more challenging guided hike up to Fletcher Canyon. This is a 3.6 mile (round-trip) hike gaining 850 feet in elevation, experiencing various life zones and breathtaking views of the Spring Mountains. Bring plenty of water, and feel free to bring snacks/lunch to enjoy at the top.

2pm – Jr Ranger program for elementary aged kids, teaching them about the Spring Mountains, Leave No Trace principles, and fire prevention.

Proper hiking footwear is required. Hat and sunscreen highly suggested, and hikers should dress in layers for the weather.

Meet us at the GO Mt Charleston table near the Fletcher Canyon trailhead.
