About the Event

Join a Spring Mountains National Recreation Area staff on a guided hike along the Fletcher Canyon Trail. Celebrate National Trails Day and learn about the importance of our trail system and what you can do to help take care of the trails in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area.

This program is approximately 1.5 hours. Please check the weather, dress in layers, and come prepared with sturdy, close-toed shoes, water, and sun protection. Optional equipment can include hiking poles, a backpack, and snacks. Any questions can be directed to programs@gomtcharleston.com 

About the Location

The program will meet at the Fletcher Canyon trailhead. See our visitor-use map for more information. The Fletcher Canyon trailhead is located on the northern side of HWY 157 (Kyle Canyon Rd), 2 miles west of the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway. Parking for this trailhead is located across the street from the trailhead. 

*Registration is not required for this program

Youth participants will have a chance to earn their Jr. Ranger badge.
