Event Details

Become an OHV host! If you’ve already been an active driver on the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area’s OHV routes, this is a great volunteer opportunity. We are searching for folks who understand off-roading and proper OHV usage on the SMNRA.

We highly recommend groups volunteer together, so bring your friends or your clubs and help us report illegal routes, damages, and wildlife presence. Much of the area is home to our pollinators and OHV Hosts will help spread information on how to protect their habitats while still having fun and recreating on the mountain! This volunteer program will also offer opportunities for hands-on evets such as invasive species removals, trail restoration/restoring illegal routes, installing signs, etc. We hope to improve visitor experience for OHV usage while also giving out information on how to best protect our environment.

We ask that all OHV Hosts have their own 4WD vehicles and have a basic knowledge on off-roading and working with groups. The next OHV Host Training is on July 14th at 11:30am. This training is not being offered virtually. Please sign up through the form below, and we look forward to meeting you! If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
