SUMMARY:OHV Host Training
DESCRIPTION:Become an OHV host! If you’ve already been an active driver o
n the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area’s OHV routes\, this is a
great volunteer opportunity. We are searching for folks who understand of
f-roading and proper OHV usage on the SMNRA. \n\nWe highly recommend group
s volunteer together\, so bring your friends or your clubs and help us rep
ort illegal routes\, damages\, and wildlife presence. Much of the area is
home to our pollinators and OHV Hosts will help spread information on how
to protect their habitats while still having fun and recreating on the mou
ntain! This volunteer program will also offer opportunities for hands-on e
vets such as invasive species removals\, trail restoration/restoring illeg
al routes\, installing signs\, etc. We hope to improve visitor experience
for OHV usage while also giving out information on how to best protect our
environment. \n\n\nWe ask that all OHV Hosts have their own 4WD vehicles
and have a basic knowledge on off-roading and working with groups. The ne
xt OHV Host Training is on August 11th at 10:00am. This training is not be
ing offered virtually. Please sign up through the form below\, and we loo
k forward to meeting you! If you have any questions\, please email volunte
 er@gomtcharleston.com.\n\nFill out my LGL Form!
