Event Details
We’re celebrating fall in a big way on Saturday, October 23: planting 4000 saplings in one day! Registration is required and volunteers can register for one or both sessions. Once registered, you’ll immediately receive a confirmation email, then specific directions to your assigned location and instructions will be emailed by Wednesday, October 20.
If you have work gloves, your own shovel, and/or a watering can, please bring them; otherwise we will have equipment for you. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but keep in mind that this is hard work and we’ll be working in a hilly, unpaved area. Dogs are ok but must be leashed within close proximity to owner, and we ask pup parents to consider whether their dog is patient and can behave calmly around crowds and other dogs.
* Please remember to wear a mask (required during instruction/staff interaction), long pants, closed-toed shoes, and bring water. Feel free to pack a picnic lunch if you want to spend the day in the crisp mountain air.
