Event Details

We’re celebrating Earth Day and Arbor Day in a big way on Saturday, April 24: planting 3400 saplings in one day! Join us at either the 9am planting session or the 11am planting session to help plant ponderosa saplings in Lee Canyon. Once registered, you’ll immediately receive a confirmation email, then specific directions to your assigned location and instructions will be emailed midday on Friday, April 23.

If you have work gloves, your own shovel, and/or a watering can, please bring them; otherwise we will have equipment for you. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, but keep in mind that we’ll be working in a hilly, unpaved area.

(registration closed)

* Please remember to wear a mask (required during instruction/staff interaction), long pants, closed-toed shoes, and bring water. Feel free to pack a picnic lunch if you want to spend the day in the crisp mountain air.
