SUMMARY:CANCELLED - Pop Up Cleanup at Sawmill
DESCRIPTION: \nTHIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS\n\n
Come visit the snowy Spring Mountains! While you're there\, take some time
to pick up the sled trash that has begun to pile up. Keeping our snow pla
y areas clean is extremely important for safety and for the health of the
environment. We are holding a Pop Up Cleanup at Sawmill Picnic Area on Sat
 urday\, March 16th from 8:30am to 10:30am. \n\nWe will provide disposable
gloves\, trash pickers\, trash bags and hand sanitizer. Our Volunteer Coor
dinator will be there\, so feel free to bring any questions you may have a
bout the volunteer program with Go Mt. Charleston. Please make sure to sav
e or screenshot this post in case you need to show it at a checkpoint on L
ee Canyon Rd. If you are stopped\, just explain you are attending a volunt
eer event and show this post.\n\nPlease remember to check the weather the
day before the event and dress accordingly. We are expecting some more sno
w this weekend\, so dress in layers! We highly recommend carpooling with f
riends and family since the parking will fill up extremely fast in the mor
ning. This event does not require any registration. Please come by anytime
from 8:30am to 10:30am\, feel free to volunteer for only 30 minutes\, or
you can volunteer the entire time! \n\nIf you have any questions or concer
 ns\, please email volunteer@gomtcharleston.com
