Interested in becoming a Snow Host volunteer for the 2021-2022 Winter season? Join us at the Education Building located at the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway for the training session!

Snow Hosts play a vital role in keeping Mt. Charleston safe and litter-free during the extremely busy winter season. As a snow host, you would guide visitors in the area to designated snow play areas and inform recreationalists about safe snow play tips. Other duties could include picking up litter, assisting with traffic, and running educational booths.

Snow Hosts are needed throughout Clark County School District Winter Break and on busy weekends and holidays throughout the winter season (MLK Day, Presidents Day).

If you want to give back to the community in a unique way and help people enjoy their winter experiences in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area, then this opportunity is for you! Email volunteer@gomtcharleston.com for more information.

If you are interested and cannot attend the training session. Do not hesitate to email us at volunteer@gomtcharleston.com. We can work with your schedule.

*Volunteers must be 18 or older, OR be accompanied by someone who is 18+ while out in the field.
