Stop the Bleed is a National initiative to help turn the bystander/general public into immediate responders from the point of when an emergency/incident occurs. This 2 hour class will cover how to recognize and manage life threatening bleeding starting with effective direct pressure, Israeli bandage use, proper tourniquet application, and wound packing. After events such as Sandy Hook, the Boston Bombing, October 1, and countless others, the difference between life and death could depend on your actions, while awaiting for First Responders to arrive. Hikers can also benefit from this valuable course!
Come learn how to save a life! The Class is FREE, and all supplies are provided, but resistration is required.
