Event Details

Searching for tracks and animal scat can be a fun way to discover which animals may be nearby, even if you are not lucky enough to see them. Join an educator at the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway to learn about animal signs in the Spring Mountains.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the program. This will be an easy hike around the visitor center. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable hiking clothes and close-toed shoes. Temperatures in the Spring Mountains can be 20-30 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas valley. Please bring 1 liter of water per person.

Participants will earn their Spring Mountains Junior Ranger badge.
4th-grade participants will get a free Every Kid Outdoors pass which offers access to many of America’s public lands.
*No registration is required for this program.
