About this Event
Searching for tracks and animal scat can be a fun way to discover which animals may be nearby, even if you are not lucky enough to see them. Join a Go Mt Charleston educator for a walk along the Acastus Trail to learn about the signs animals leave behind.
Meet at the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway (the visitor center) 10-15 minutes before the program. Please check the weather, dress in layers, and come prepared with sturdy, close-toed shoes, water, and sun protection. Temperatures in the Spring Mountains can be 20-30 degrees cooler than in Las Vegas. This program is approximately one hour. Any questions about this program can be directed to programs@gomtcharleston.com.
