Enjoy the trails while giving back as a Trail Host with Go Mt. Charleston. Report on damages, regulation violation, graffiti, or any other trail issues. This is a great volunteer program for those who are already familiar with the trails on Mt. Charleston, as well as for anyone who’s looking to get started.
All Trail Hosts must first go through the Trail Host Training. There, you will learn more about the ecology of the Spring Mountain National Recreation area, and get some on-the-ground experience walking a trail and looking out for things to report on. We offer two opportunities for training, in-person and virtual. Our next In-Person Trail Host Training will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm on April 6th at the Spring Mountain National Recreation Area.
