We support native wildlife on Mt. Charleston by removing invasive species that can take nutrients from the soil, crowd native plants, and block native plants from sunlight. Mullein and Russian Thistle are the plants we are after, and we need a group of volunteers to help us remove them. By removing invasive plants, we make room for those who can support the Spring Mountain National Recreation’s endemic species, like the Mt. Charleston Blue Butterfly!
This volunteer event will be at Robbers Roost on Sunday, June 30th. Due to the limited parking, the from to sign up will close after 5 submissions.
