What happens to the animals in the Spring Mountains in the winter? Join an educator from 9 am-10:30 am at the Fletcher Canyon trail to discover the adaptations that help animals survive in the winter month.

Please come prepared with proper outdoor clothing. Trail conditions are icy and traction on boos is recommended. Temperatures in the Spring Mountains can be 20-30 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas Valley.

This program is for visitors of all ages.
Young participants will have a chance to earn their Spring Mountains Junior Ranger badge.
4th-grade participants will get a free Every Kid Outdoors pass which offers access to many of America’s public lands.
