About this Event
What happens to the animals and plants in the Spring Mountains in the winter? Join an educator at the Foxtail picnic area to discover the adaptations that help animals survive in the winter month.
This is a stationary lesson that will take place at the following times.
10 am-10:30
11 am-11:30 am
Noon-12:30 pm

The Foxtail Picnic area is located in Lee Canyon (Hwy 156). See our visitor-use map for more information.
A $25 entrance fee is required per vehicle to access the Foxtail picnic area. Parking is limited. First come, first serve.

This program is for visitors of all ages.
Young participants will have a chance to earn their Spring Mountains Junior Snow Ranger patch.
4th-grade participants will get a free Every Kid Outdoors pass which offers access to many of America’s public lands.
*No registration is required for this program.
