GO Mt. Charleston Winter Programming:

With the Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway, and trailhead restrooms, we have shifted some of our programs to various locations around Kyle and Lee canyons. Plan for traffic and check our Snow Season map for locations and parking restrictions.

Volunteers gather at information table in the middle of the snowy Lee Meadows Sunday 1/12 & 2/17
- 11am Jr Snow Snow Ranger program at Old Mill Picnic Area
- Noon Guided Hike at Old Mill Picnic Area

* PLUS every Saturday & Sunday, and every open day during Winter Break, join us at a popular snowplay area between 9am and noon for activities and volunteer opportunities!

Want to try snowshoeing? After heavy snowfall, we open up registration for last minute guided snowshoe hikes as the conditions allow! These $10 programs include use of snowshoes and poles, start at 8:30am, and are limited to 20 people. Registration closes at 3:45pm the day before the hike, so follow our Facebook page and check our calendar often for new offerings as snow allows.

We'll be adding more programs throughout the season as well. See you soon!

Programs may be shortened or cancelled because of heavy rain, lightning, or snow for public safety. Our Interpretive Staff will make that determination prior to the start of the program.
